Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the responsibilities of the Quality Control Chemist include, but are not limited to:  Provide technical and engineering expertise on all chemical and environmental requirements; Provide technical and engineering expertise on plating bath analysis, storage, handling, use, and disposal of all hazardous materials and waste; Ensure compliance with environmental reporting in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations; Operate two laboratories in compliance with ISO and AS9100, working in collaboration with Quality Manager; Maintain bath chemistry of plating baths; Provide environmental compliance of all government agencies, including city, county, state, and federal; Support development of new processes and trouble shoot any plating issues; Maintain and develop laboratory procedures and work instructions pertinent to analysis of the bath chemistry in collaboration with the Quality Manager; and, Conduct chemical safety training for all labor and surface finish employees on an annual basis.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar field; and one year experience as a Chemist in an Industrial Laboratory Setting
